Really had amazing stay for my birthday weekend. Fairly clean hotel in an interesting building not far from the restaurant and bar available for a chat as well as the centre of Llanfyllin. Very central location perfect to explore the surrounding area. Modern & huge room with clean bathroom.

pleasant stay with minor issues
The manager was really nice, offering really good assistance . The quadruple room was spacious and comfortable.
The location was a bit isolated, making navigating local attractions challenging.

Really enjoyed this very pleasant stay for my birthday weekend. The breakfast was amazing with good local ingredients and the bacon, fairly friendly staff. It was in a very central setting right in the quiet centre.

Rooms need significant upkeep, especially concerning outdated decor and fixtures!!! Noise levels from the bar area create distractions that could be addressed!!! Hot water inconsistencies.

We enjoyed their evening meals we ate in the restrauant on both nights the food was excellant .Breakfast superb too.there was a freindly bar and the staff were great and very helpful .there was plenty of hot water and fresh clean towels each day, even the liquid soap was provided . comfortable beds with good old fashioned warm blankets . our bedroom had a pair of comfortable chairs which was a help as the residents lounge was closed .
The stairs were a bit steep, [ for elderly people like us ] the residents lounge was tempoerarily closed,, as we were out and about it did not matter, however if we return it would be nice to see it reopened . the television set in our room was exceedingly small the screen was smaller than a lap top computer , but we did not go to watch T.v , however it would have helped if it were even slightly larger..

Good food, friendly staff, good service
The bathroom in Room 1 was in our opinion below standard with the deco and the bath was a little antiquated.
